Mission Statement
"We strive to being a great bike club offering a chance for members to get out for a ride most weekends and meet a fantastic group of riders with similar interests".

YOWMTC eGroups

The eGroups are a Web and Email forum hosted by Yahoo and the primary method of communication within YOW. If you are already registered, click HERE to enter eGroups.

Egroups gives members a place to meet, interact, and share ideas with each other. Just like a real community, you may have different opinions, although the experience is best served when members remember a few rules and show respect for each other.

All paid members are able to gain immediate access to the group.

Non-members can also join the egroup but must be nominated by an existing paid up member. After a trial 6-month period they will be expected to join YOW as a fully paid member.

It's very simple to join our online E groups

  1. You first have to be registered with Yahoo. So if you're already a Yahoo member then skip this step, otherwise please join Yahoo at: http://www.yahoo.com
  2. Then please go to http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/YOWMTC and press "Join Group". Add some information about yourself. Please include your real name in the profile (although your nick can be any name you like) so the Moderator will know who you are. Then, once you have the Moderator's approval, you will be able to access the E groups

It's very simple to use our online E groups

You can use your web browser to access EGroups HERE, just as you would any forum. Click 'Messages' to read messages and 'Post' to post a message. The rich-text editor works fine.

But as an alternative to Web, you can access the EGroups entirely by EMail. Many members do it this way. Click 'Edit Membership' and configure your profile to receive individual emails. Then every post is emailed to you. Beware, at times this can result in lots of email! By replying or sending an email to YOWMTC@yahoogroups.com you can post a message back.

Look forward in meeting you on E groups

Richard - (Administrator/Moderator)

Please follow these guidelines when posting messages across the group:

Remember, we are a Jewish motorcyle club so posts are ideally pertaining to 1) motorcycling and 2) Jewish issues.

1. Do not use vulgar or abusive language.

2. Do not post emails relating to religious diatribe, commercial activity or advertising.

3. Do not post emails that are not related to the group's core subject. Jokes, movies, comedic content or just interesting web links can be sent to individual emails - not the group as a whole.

4. Do not use the group to harass, abuse, intimidate, threaten, or advocate violence against members of the group.

5. Do not post content that is obscene or otherwise objectionable.

6. Do not post content which infringes any member's privacy.

7. Do not conduct illegal activities, fraud or be involved in situations of potential threats to the physical safety of any person within the group.

8. If you are unsure whether your content is consistent with these policies, always err on the side of caution and do not post your content until sure.

9. If any person becomes abusive or detrimental to the group, and ignores reminders about these guidelines they will be banned from the group.
