Richard and Brian (former YOW) and Kwan (Brian's friend) did an overnight ride to Khao Sok national park area, about 150km north of Phuket.

Brian was riding his '06 Harley Night Train and i hired a kwaka 650 versys.  The versys went really well

Thailand has excellent roads in many cases surfaces and marking better than here.  The last 100km to khao sok were pretty much constant twisties (signed 50km/h-80km/h) thru jungle, contoured rice fields and plantations.  Great riding and Brian has great local knowledge of roads and sights.
