Report:

What a beautiful day. The sun was out after a full week of rain and cold windy weather. A large turnout at the coffee shop and a large riding group as well. Riding were Les, Sol, Graham, Richard, Mark, Joel (new rider), Volvi, Pearl, Rod, Yossi, Mike and myself. Hope I did not forget anyone!

To see us off it was great to see Brian visiting from Thailand, Batya, Colin, Glenn, Reuven and Tania, David and Carol. We have a lot of catching up to do with some old but not forgotten faces. We also had a ride to do and the few who offered suggestions leand toward a day in the Healesville area. As usual we proceeded via North Rd. through Rowville, Emerald and turned off to Woori Yallock, Yellingbo and on to the Beechworth Bakery in Healesville. The roads were a little wet and slippery in parts where the sun could not pentrate to dry them. Lots of traffic unfortunately but considering we had a reasonable size group it was not going to be a speedfest anyway.

Sol left the bakery early due to committments but I have to thank him for recently taking up the tail end charlie role on so many of the previous rides during the summer and autumn rides. The rest of us returned via the same roads and took the turnoff to Berwick from Emerald. Itself a wonderful stretch of road. Individuals peeled off as usual as the sun continued to shine on us.

See you all next week.
